I got exactly what I expected when I ordered it. Initially, I was concerned about how well the battery would actually fit. However, though it isn't a perfect fit, the battery fits well enough in my HP G60 with only a barely noticeable wiggle. I have not experienced any performance issues since using the battery over the past month or so. The battery life is about consistent to the stock battery that came with the computer.

Useful, but some minor issues...

This product is actually very useful if your original battery is no longer charging. If this battery is fully charged, It will last up to 3 maybe 4 hours for me. Which is good enough for me. I also noticed that it last longer if it is charged using an "off-brand charger". I used the original HP charger to charge it once and it barely charged. When I charged it with the other " off brand" charger, it charged faster until fully charged. Good product so far. Im glad I had a cheap back up charger to charge this with.

UPDATE:
This battery stopped working on Feb. 2013. Would not charge at all. Went completely dead. It did last me awhile and did good while it worked.

I bought this battery to replace the original HP 6-cell battery on my HP G60 laptop. While the price was incredibly cheaper than that offered by HP or most competitors, I soon found this to be a mistake. The battery was installed in March 2013 and lasted to early May 2013. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDER.

This battery literally exploded.

The title says is all. My daughter was using her laptop and it began to smoke. Wisely, she threw it off her lap and onto our carpet where it exploded like an M80 and charred the carpet black. If she'd left the laptop on her lap she would have very seriously injured. We are very lucky that she isn't in the hospital and that our house didn't burn down.

I strongly encourage Amazon pull this product from their shelves immediately.
