Cha^n Ma^y city to be built near the Ha?i Va^n Valley (fwd)

Hai: Cool. We also have a city called "Ha. Long" in Quang Ninh.
I like both the names "Ha. Long" and "Cha^n Ma^y".

Following the approval by the prime minister of a deep-sea port
project in  Thua Thien-Hue Province [central Vietnam] ,
preparations are now underway to  start building an industrial
zone, a trade and tourist centre, and Chan May City in mid-1997 to
serve the activities of the port. Chan May City will be  situated
near the Hai Van Valley, 40 km from Danang City.

Chan May will be the second most important city after Hue. It will
serve as a satellite city of Thua Thien-Hue Province, linking the
highway between Quang Tri Province with the Dung Quat industrial
zone. Many infrastructure projects will  be built in the new city.
These will include a new highway, a new railway  station about four
km from the Phuoc Tuong Mountain, a new bus terminal, a
residential area and an industrial centre, and so forth.
