With a view to providing prompt information on our country's
situation and on key lines and policies of our party and state to
the overseas Vietnamese  community, the Overseas Vietnamese
Commission has launched its monthly journal  'Que Huong' [Homeland]
on the Internet.

With cooperation from the Post and Telegraph General Department and
assistance from DTT of the Telecommunications General Department
and the  Computer Development and Support Company HPT, the first
'Que Huong' issue  appeared on the Internet on the lunar new year's
eve [6th February]. Witnessing  the event were Nguyen Dy Nien,
deputy foreign minister and chairman of the  Overseas Vietnamese
Commission; comrade Dang Dinh Lam, deputy director-general  of the
Telecommunications General Department; and a number of high-ranking
officials.
