Hello 

My name is Die^~m Ngo.c.  I'm a 3rd year medical student from the U. of
Miami
Medical school.  A friend of mine a while back, went to VN and had told
me about the common head injuries that ppl suffer back there and at
small
hospital, little were done to save their lives.  I work in trauma for
a few weeks and I see how they can control brain hemorrhage within 1hr
and most ppl survive.  That's when I became very interested in how
the hospital works in VN.  I wonder how it would be to be in those
environment and see what I can do to help.

I was wondering if anyone knows about any special group or programs
where
you can go back to VN and help the country and also learn by working at
major hospital there. I remember hearing about some program that
allow you to do externship in VN for a month as a 4th year elective.
 I would like to contribute my knowledge and ability
to help my country at the same time learn.  So if anyone has any
information
