Re: China & Vietnam ! Please read that !!

	Dear all !
	From what i saw in this mailing group.
	Some of us are wondering about a possibility of Chinese
	invasion against VietNam. I must say that it is very unlikely.

	For the offshore territory that claimed by both countries.
 	I knew about a bit of it ( historically).
	According to the agreement between French and The last chinese
	emperor, it belongs to VietNam. For this agreement,
	the chinese have a lot of disadvantages. However, 
	Vietnam had signed an international agreement that apply
	to international offshore territory in 1992.
	This agreement had been in place from 1981. According to this	
	agreement, the disputed territory between
	VN and China belongs to China so the dispute occured. VN
	have already been exploring two blocks that are very close
	to the disputed area and  has signed a contract with an America
	company for oil& gas exploration in the area. However VN has
	not touched the disputed area because VN wants to keep a good
	relation with Beijing regime. 

	I don't want, who is right, who is wrong. u  justify the situation 
	for yourself but don't panick China won't  touch any VNese 
	territories that is not disputed. Oh my god, there are currently
	two VNese oil&gas producing fields that are in another
	disputed area (around Truong Sa). They are very promising fields.
