        Dick is one of several well-known epi. figures in Asia. He travelled
frequently to Vietnam to organise epi. studies there. He fell in love with
Hue (he told me so!).  

        Now, if your sister is interested in HIV research in VN then I have
a better contact for her. Next to my building is a centre for HIV
epidemiology research belong to my university. Although they are next door,
I rarely talk to them. However, I do know they are currently running a study
in collaboration with epi people in Ha Noi. May be Judith knows more than me
about this. I have a VNese friend who works as a data manager there and I
can ask him for further info. should you need.
