I have never heard this song before! Which album is it from??
Do you know who Zimmerman might be? My guess is JL was making 
a reference to Robert Zimmerman, laterly known as Bob Dylan 
(after poet Dylan Thomas, I believe). Can you confirm? 
Anyhow, it reads like a very cool song. I'll have to check 
it out for sure :)) thanks!

As much as I don't want to admit it :)) I was (and still am)
a Fab Four fanatic :)) Except that nowadays I can only enjoy 
it sometimes, when the timing is jusssst right, if you know
what I mean :) Any favorites?? Hmmm...

"A Day in the Life", "For the Benefit of Mr. Kite", "Taxman", 
"While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "Savoy Truffle", "Revolution",
... and sooo many more :))) How'bout you?

BTW, upon a VNSAr's recommendation, I think I'll get me some
King Crimson this weekend and give it an earshot. Anything in
particular I ought to get first, KC fans?

Speaking of... "Who???", "My Generation" definitely was one of my 
most beloved battle cries. It was in fact *the* favorite until I 
came upon "Just One Victory" by Todd Rundgren.  Ever heard of him? 

He was a big Beatles fan, too, incidentally. On his LP "Faithful" 
(mid 70's) he devoted one whole side A to cover songs by other 
artists, including Yardbirds, Beach Boys, Hendrix, Dylan, and Beatles 
On side B are two classic battle hymns of another sort, the perennial
fan-favorite rocker "Black and White" (indescribably yum yum :)) and 
the unabashedly-Toddesque "The Verb: To Love". "Faithful" is a GREAT 
starter for those interested in a (most rewarding) journey into the 
very serious musical world of... "Todd Who???" (Not recommended for
pop listeners, however)
