Vietnam wins one gold medal at HCMC Open Tennis Championship

The Vietnamese "duo" Wendy Huynh and Kim Trang won the only gold medal for
the host team after beating their two Filipino rivals 2-0 (6/3, 6/3) at
the HCMC Open Tennis Championship which concluded early this week. 

Other medals were won by foreign competitors. In the single men's
competition, the first winner was Hee Sung Chung, a South Korean student,
who beat the championship's fourth-seeded Thai player 2-0 at the final
match. Previously, it was Hee who KO'ed Indian competitor Reddy, the
championship's top-seeded player. 

The gold medal for men's and women's doubles went to South Korean players,
who also won the gold medal for men-women's double competition, together
with a Filipino partner.
