Carmen Fantasy
Hi,

I guess you meant "Latin", not "arabic". I think it includes music
from Spain, Mexico, Brazil, and so on.
About Carmen and flamenco music, I suggest you should watch a movie
adaptation with the same title made in '83 by the renowned Spanish
director Carlos Saura. Paco de Lucia, probably the most well-known
flamenco guitarist alive, also appeared in this movie. When I was in
Hungary, I knew a few guys who were crazy fans of him.
I think most people know the bewitching "Carmen Fantasy" part from
the opera. It was arranged for many different orchestral and chamber
outfits in its history. I still remember watching Katarina Witt
skating in this music 10 years ago or so, when she won the world
championship in Calgary for the fourth time in her career. That was
a wonderful experience for a young kid like me!
Cheers,
