Hi folks, I hate it when you guys are jumping topics. If we are talking
about "The naked Carmen", then let us keep talking about it and defer
discussing remembering each other, shall we? :-)
Lets take a minute and compile the top ten best erotic films from a DHS
point of view. Hey, this is fun and may come in handy for some. :-)
I don't like David Letterman (the host of a daily entertaining program
in the US TV), so let me do it the other way:
1) Number 1 erotic film: "In the realm of the senses", Japan. Lo+.n cu.
This film created a huge controversy when it was first introduced. It was
then banned in Japan, I believe; but it won a prestigous award at an
international film festival. This film was also voted "the most watched
film" at many video rental places across America.
2) Hmm..now I start to get lost among the various ratings. Lets pick one,
shall we, lets pick "The Lover", French to be the number 2. Lo+.n gia`. A
poignant film, a lot of sensual and humid scenes, great view of the Mekong
river. But the thing I like the most is the voice of the female narrator
(to represent the main character). The most beautiful English that I have
ever listened to. The voice of someone who has lived and seen a lot of up
and down in the world. The only comparable narrator voice that I have
heard is the one in "Out of Africa".
3) How about "Lady Chatterley's Lover"? Forget which country. Lo+.n
con. Based on the popular and controversial novel by H. Lawrence.
English noble folks getting together with peasants.
4) "Nine and half weeks" , US? This one perhaps doesn't need introduction.
Great dancing scence and great song, was it "baby, take off your hat" or
something?
5) ....?
You guys go on...:-)
