Dear Thanh,

I saw this series when it was shown on PBS.  While I disagreed with some 
of the observations and conclusions of the author, I would recommend 
watching it.  I'd also like to say that the period from 1945-1975 is one 
of the darkest time in VN history, and this film reflected the death and 
sufferings or wars so you may not want to watch it before final exams.
