I am also reading this discussion with great interest, because Japanese 
should know how they are looked from other people.

BTW, I have one advice for all here.

In any place where Japanese people (excluding me) stay, please do not 
use the word "JAP", because this word have bad meaning, just like when 
Americans said "Viet-Cong" during the war.

Instead, you had better use "JPN", "JPNese", etc.
