Re: Please help a sick child

Hi Hu`ng,

I have just talked to my colleague here and his prelimiary opinion
is basically as follows: From the details provided, it sounds like the child
has a LUMP which is obstructing the nasal passage, interfering with his
vocal cords, and blocking air movement through either the larynx or trachea.
The child MUST BE seen by a doctor who specialises in either ENT (ear nose
throat) or paediatric oncologist.

This is not a rare nor a common condition. In VN, there is a
children hospital in Saigon and it is not difficult to have a throughgout
pathological examination. In Australia, you may care to contact the Children
Hospital in Westmead; they may be able to point to related people for help.
I understand that there are charity organisations which help special cases.
