This is Zonghao. I am currently a junior at University of Wisconsin-Madison. I define myself as an interdisciplnary learner, and believe that in order to solve complicated and difficult problems, knowledge from different perspectives should be used. I love reading and learning information from different subjects. I love trying out new things and gainning new experience. Most importantly, I love working with people and communicate with them so that I can have a better understanding of them.

UW-Madison Rotaract regularly hold meetings for its members to develop their professional skills. During each meeting, a professional in his or her field is invited to talk about his/her experience and advice for their profession.

Being an exec board officer, I learnt how to organize events, communicate with speakers, identify and recruit potential members, and also how to lead the group

Planned and executed the launch of a student organization at the University of Wisconsin, recruiting 50 charter members

Worked with others on the Executive Board to plan and coordinate several Club meetings with prominent speakers, volunteer and fundraising activities

UW-Madison Tedx

UW-madison Tedx club is an authorized Tedx program, We hold annual Tedx event in which we invite experts from different fields to speak about their personal experience or recent discoveries. This year our theme is broadening horizen

As a co-event officer, my job is to book and organize the event. I and the other event officer make sure that the event take place at the correct time and place, and everything goes smoothly during the event.

Aikijujitsu Club

Member & Fundraising Officer

Aikijujitsu is Rec sport club that taught two different yet connected martial arts: Aikido and Jiujistu. Both two martial arts originated from Japan. As time passed, they gradually became one of the few well-known and well-practiced martial arts in the world.

I started learning martial arts around age 16. I then continue practice both martial arts to strengthen my body and my mind in college; as a fundraising officer, I organize fundraising and volunteering events for our club.

Due to my interest in magic tricks, I attented the Magic club to learn card tricks. It taught me how to control audience attention and communicate with audience effectively.

Doing magic tricks become a hobby and an enjoyment of mine.

Co-Founder and NEST Competition particiant

Invented and implemented the idea of using blockchain to create a marketplace for limited edition, original, and rare digital audio, for which we named Whisper to Me

Participated in NEST Contest (NEST for Emerging Software Technologies) sponsored by CS department and won the 2 nd place.
