May 16-18 is graduation weekend for the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Unfortunately this means that downtown accommodations are somehwat limited for this weekend. Listed here are some options we've found in the area. For others, try searching Google maps for hotels. We suggest staying downtown or on the east side of Madison to avoid driving through campus during graduation.
The Best Western is the closest hotel with any availability and is a short three blocks from the wedding location. However, if interested in the Best Western, please book your room as soon as possible as there are not many rooms remaining and are expected to fill quickly due to graduation. Also, the Best Western requires a two-night stay minimum.
The Howard Johnson and the Sheraton are a little further away and would require a car or cab to travel to the wedding site. However, we have rooms blocked off at each of these hotels until April 16, so there is less urgency in making reservations.
