It seem to be understood from your message that you don't want those
equipments to be sent to a well-equiped hospital like Viet-Duc or
Viet-Xo but a "rather small" hosp. in Hanoi. I could not understand your
point here. If your idea is to help a still poor equiped hosp., you
should advise them (the German) to send it to a provincial hosp. other
than HN. If you want to serve Hanoian only, you sould send it to a "big
hosp." like Viet-Duc, Viet-Xo, Bach Mai or so in HN. These hosp.s can
use your donated equipments most effectively. The pacemaker ( as you
mentioned) is a very valuable device. I guest " and so" (Pacemaker and
so) are valuable too. So many provincial hosp.s still do not have such
devices while they have to serve not much less populated regions than
Hanoi.
Hope to hear soon from you which your point is.
