(TOM) Going to the top was probably the best part of the monument. It gave a really good view of Leipzig. While we were up there, I saw a woman that made my skin crawl. She wasn't ugly or anything She was wearing a short mini-skirt, heels, and she had some thick black hairy legs. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with it. I guess I should have expected it, except that all the german girls I know shave. Katharina told me we were now upon the embodiment of the classic East German woman stereotype, basking in all her shaggy splendor. I shall not forget it. |
