(TOM) We headed to the nearby town of Berchtesgaden. If you're a history channel fan, then you will already be aware this is the small town where Hitler kept his famous bunker, The Eagles Nest; we didn't go there. Instead, we went to a salt mine. It might seem like a tour of a salt mine might be boring, but it was about the best tour of anything I've seen (as can be observed in the later pictures).
