The Birth of Herbe

Our affinity diagram turned into a caterpillar
We wrote each of our observation-derived tendencies on a Post-It note to create an Affinity Diagram. Since many of the statements overlapped, we decided upon a Venn Diagram, which worked out well since the categories overlapped in a manner that allowed us to draw the diagram as a linear progression of circles. We labeled the circles and stuck on the Post-Its, then in a moment of inspiration added legs, a face, and antenna. Our affinity diagram had become the caterpillar from which the butterfly of our final design would emerge. We called it Herbe.
