Jerry Zhu is the Sheldon & Marianne Lubar Professor in the Department of Computer Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He works on machine learning, with a focus on machine teaching and interactive learning. He received his Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University in 2005. He is a recipient of a National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2010. He was co-chair for the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Statistics (AISTATS) in 2017.
