Biography I have graduated and joined Google in 2014. I was a PhD student in the Department of Computer Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison under the supervision of Prof. Jeff Naughton. I am interested in databases and big data research, with a focus on query optimization and parallel database systems. Previously, I have worked on data privacy problems with Prof. Yufei Tao. During my Phd study, I worked on projects as a research assistant in Microsoft Gray Systems Lab between Dec 2009 and Jun 2014. And I also spent a summer in 2011 as a research intern in the DMX group of Microsoft Research.
