The second revision of our application came with major changes. First and foremost is the tabbed navigation. This allows for quicker switching between program areas, avoiding the potentially high-nesting of windows in our first revision. The home screen now houses the switch to turn tracking on or off, allowing users to do that much quicker versus going into the settings window in revision 1. Some minor layout tweaks other than that appear as well, such as mode-specific navigation (switching between days, etc.) moving to the top menu bar.

Home Screen

The new and improved home screen features only an on/off switch with a few relevant tracking statistics. It is a good base that is easy to get back to.

Route

The main changes to the Route screen (other than the tabbed navigation at the bottom) include the date and day-navigation in the top menu bar.

POI

The biggest change to the POI screen is, again, top menu bar navigation. Also, the layout of elements changed slightly.
