Research Interests

Dr. Guo is interested in solving Computer Vision and Biometrics problems using learning based techniques. The problems that he has worked on include face recognition, facial expression recognition, iris recognition, age estimation, soft biometrics, human action recognition, etc.  He is also interested in using computational technologies for smart health applications, e.g., computational BMI estimation, behavior monitoring for low back pain, etc.
