I thought the Roxy was dead and gone, until I went down there recently to see my old mate, Shanes band; the Nipple Erectors play their second gig (the first was audition night at the Roxy), Musically, they weren't nothing special, but they reminded me of Defiant when they started in the attitude they took. It was one of the most enjoyable gigs I've been to in a long time. Fuck the superstars and follow Defiant and the Nipple Erectors. These are are the real street level bands. I mean who gave a shit that the leads kept falling out of the guitars or that Shane cant sing a note. It was fun,fun,fun all the way. the songs include 'Abuse', 'Stupid Cow', 'Downtown', 'Nervous Wreck' and 'Loot'. Oh yeah and expect a single out on 'Chiswick' soon.
