I'm Shweta, a former graduate student in the Department of Computer Sciences at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. I graduated with a Masters in May 2007 and am now working in the Bay Area in California. I loved my two years at school, and wish I could go back to them!
During my Masters, I worked as a Research Assistant in File and Storage Systems as a part of the ADvanced Systems Laboratory(ADSL) with Profs. Remzi and Andrea Arpaci-Dusseau.

I did my Bachelors in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani, Rajasthan, India. I hail from Jamshedpur(also known as Tatanagar), the Steel City of India, in the state of Jharkhand. I basically belong to South India but have lived in Jamshedpur right from childhood, so I've imbibed both the cultures of the North and the South. I did my schooling from DBMS English School, Jamshedpur.

As a person, I'm just another human being with nothing extraordinary to my claim....but well, I'm ambitious all the same and believe in putting in every effort even to reach out to the stars...... You could know more about me by visiting the links to the left!

"The ideals which have lighted my way, and time after time have given me new courage to face life cheerfully, have been Kindness, Beauty, and Truth. The trite subjects of human efforts, possessions, outward success, luxury have always seemed to me contemptible." - Albert Einstein
