Hi Hiep et al
My family told me that Nhatrang was very happy with the
split. I'm not surprised - Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa were
very different places, KH (or at least Nha Trang) was
a fairly well off tourist center, very outward-looking
while Phu Yen was much poorer. During the war, the two
provinces could almost be said to be on opposite sides.
