I graduated with a Masters in Spring 2011 and currently am part of a team building a low latency, highly scalable database web service at Amazon Web Services team based at Seattle. While at grad school, I spent my time working on the broad area of File Systems under the wonderful guidance of Prof.Andrea Arpaci-Dusseau and Prof.Remzi Arpaci-Dusseau.

Work Experience:

2011 - present : I work on *non-complex* parts of the AWS DynamoDB NOSQL database service. Its a pretty cool service .. Check it out here ..

2006-2008 : I worked for 2 years at the Amazon.com Development Center in Chennai, India with wonderful colleagues in the Digital Technology Team and learned a lot on Product development, testing, deployment, people skills. [ sometimes, the hard way. ;) ]

Internship Experience:

I was fortunate to intern at NEC Labs, Princeton during the Summer of 2010 with the Storage Technology Group under the mentorship of Nitin Agrawal. It is a really nice Lab and a wonderful Group.

Teaching Experience:

I was a Lab Teaching Assistant for an Introductory Programming in Java course for a semester during which I was involved in monitoring undergraduate students during lab sessions, holding office hours to help students learn better and creating lab assignments along with other Teaching Assistants.
