# Pandemic Model Demo

This is simple model of pandemic in which green balls represent healthy population, red balls represent infected population. Initially, a fixed fraction of the population is vaccinated and the vaccination is assumed to reduce the infection rate. You can play with different parameters to see the effect of herd immunity and given the rate of infection and the effectiveness of the vaccine.

📗 Current stats:
(1) Healthy (green; blue if vax) 0 100 percent
(2) Infected (red) 0 0 percent
(3) Dead (invisible) 0 0 percent
📗 Pick one person: (an index between 0 and population - 1)
(1) Current status: Healthy
(2) Vaccination: No
📗 Settings (click "Restart" to update):
(1) Initial population: , infected:
(2) Percentage vaccinated: 25 percent
(3) Vaccine effectiveness: 50 percent (infection rate with vaccine)
(4) Infection rate: 75 percent
(5) Death rate: 1 percent
(6) Number of days to recover: 7 days (one second is one day)
